Portrait Packages or Individual quotes

I am always asked if I offer portrait packages. Which I do! However, I do believe that each individual clients has individual needs. Which I do work with also. Now I would love to know how everyone else thinks about this subject. As a client, would you prefer to have an individual portrait package made up for you or would you like the convenience of just picking a package? Now, as a photographer, do you prefer to offer one or the other...or both? Would love to hear your opinion!
